The Executive Council of Bangladesh Islamic Centre of NSW has delighted to announce the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Election of 2021-2013. Details are given below.

• AGM & Election for 2021-2023 Date: December 19, 2021, Time: 10.30 AM
• Place: Lakemba Chapter Hall (220 Lakemba St. Lakemba, NSW 2195)
• Candidate form for BIC Executive Committee is available now in the resource section of our website
• Membership closing time: December 4, 2021 by 4PM
• New/Renew MMembership place: 15B Fairmount St. Lakemba, NSW 2195
• Operation hours for new/renew membership: Monday – Thursday (10am – 3 pm), Friday up to 12 pm and Weekend may available by appointment
• New Member has to come with filled ‘Membership Form’ along with photo ID and $20 cash or BIC (Westpac acc. BSB: 032065, A/c no. 300377 ) bank deposit receipt for General Membership and $300 for Life Membership. No EFTPOS facility will be available on site.  
• Existing Members to renew their membership don’t need to come physically. They can deposit the money to the BIC Bank account (Westpac acc. BSB: 032065, A/c no. 300377 ) and send a SMS to the membership committee to renew his/her membership.

It is hereby notified on behalf of the BANGLADESH ISLAMIC CENTRE OF NSW INc. that the Executive Council of the centre is unable to hold the AGM and Elections 2021 according to previously-announced schedules due to stricter restrictions imposed by the government as a result of recent upsurge in COVID19 infections. Therefore, the AGM and elections to be held 22 August as announced before, is now postponed indefinitely.

A new announcement will be made once the Government-announced restrictions are eased and permitted to hold meetings.

We would like to make some special arrangements for the membership entry and renewal due to the current COVID19 restrictions. These are as follows

1. New members can download the BIC Membership Form from this website
2. General Membership fee (New/Renew) $20 and Life Membership fee $300 can be deposited to Bangladesh Islamic Centre of NSW Bank account (Westpac acc. BSB: 032065, A/c no. 300377) and save the bank deposit receipt to supply along with the Membership Form and IDs
3. Existing Members to renew their membership don’t need to come physically as usual. They can just deposit the money to the BIC Bank account (Westpac acc. BSB: 032065, A/c no. 300377 ) and send a SMS to the membership committee to renew his/her membership.

The Sefton Mosque and all of it’s facilities will be closed due to COVID19 restriction imposed by State Government until the further notice.

Our daily, weekly and all other services and congregation will resume as usual once the restriction will lift up by the authority.

• New membership/ Membership renewal will open from 01 July 2021 till 17 July 2021
• Operation hours for new/renew membership: Monday – Thursday (10am – 3 pm), Friday up to 12 pm and Weekend may available by appointment
• New Member has to come with filled ‘Membership Form’ along with photo ID and $20 cash or BIC (Westpac acc. BSB: 032065, A/c no. 300377 ) bank deposit receipt for General Membership and $300 for Life Membership. No EFTPOS facility will be available on site.
